AJ Levinger, DPT

AJ Levinger graduated with a BA in General Education from Tel Aviv University in 1988. He graduated from Sakler Physical Therapy School with a BPT Degree in 1992. AJ specializes in the Maitland Therapy (Australian Approach) for the spine and extremities. He’s also trained in the Mulligen concept and the MET (Scandinavian Exercise Therapy). For nine years, he was treating elite athletes in Europe including four years of being a Lead Physical Therapist of the Macabi Tel Aviv Basketball Team (The championship team in Europe). He was managing outpatient physical therapy for the last twelve years. In 2002, he was certified as a Registered Physical Therapist by the Board of California and is currently managing his outpatient Physical Therapy facility in Encino, Los Angeles, CA.

Barak Kraus, DPT

Barak Kraus was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. After finishing his bachelor’s degree in San Francisco (SFSU), Barak moved to Maryland to begin work on his doctoral degree.  Upon graduating in 2005 with his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), he returned to Los Angeles and quickly began his career working alongside some of the best orthopedic surgeons in the area.  Barak partnered with AJ Physical Therapy in 2012 to help establish Encino’s top Physical Therapy Clinic. Barak has a strong background in manual orthopedics, sports medicine, and geriatric care including total joint replacement. With a background in strength and conditioning where he served as UMES’s head strength and conditioning coach, Barak prides himself on motivating and progressing his patients with new and creative programs to regain full function.  As a father of two, Barak enjoys playing sports and relaxing at home with his family. When not in the office, he can be found running in and around Encino.

Sally Clark-Ives, PTA

Sally Clark-Ives has more than 30 years experience in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Treatment expertise in joint replacement, balance training, and geriatric strengthening are her specialties. Sally has a high interest in sports-related injuries, having spent many years participating in sports, including many years as a sports-mom. Sally has worked 25 years with the premier SF Valley Orthopedic Group, which included pediatric to geriatric specialists. Sally lives in Agua Dulce with her husband of 25 years, they have two grown sons. Her interests include spending time with family and friends, competing in Rodeo, hiking, and exercising.

Colleen Duran, DPT

Colleen is a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She attended Ithaca College in New York, earning a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Health Studies in 2017 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2019. She moved to Los Angeles in 2020 and gained experience throughout a variety of clinical health facilities, including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation units, and outpatient practices.
Colleen employs a multidisciplinary approach in assessment and treatment of her patients, trying to match what exercises will help patients reach their goals of rehabilitation. She believes that patients have better health and recovery outcomes when they are involved in the goal setting and enjoy their exercise. She is an avid explorer, spending her weekends riding her bike around Los Angeles or hiking the countless trails found in Southern California.

Reese Shull, D.P.T.

Reese Shull attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in coaching. Reese worked to become a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) to help individuals reach their physical fitness goals. A few years later, he started at AJ Physical Therapy to gain experience in preparation for graduate school. He attended Azusa Pacific University where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Reese has experience in a wide-variety of physical therapy settings, including orthopedics, pediatrics, and neurological rehabilitation. He desires to educate, motivate, and encourage each patient that he treats. Reese currently lives in Westlake Village with his wife and 2 daughters. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys playing basketball and exercising. On the weekends, you can find Reese at his church or at the beach with his family.
